This case on stand was an exploration of curved forms. The legs of the cabinet were created by bent lamination of tapered layers of red birch. The result are elegantly curved legs that taper from top to bottom. The padauk cabinet has a subtle bow front. This bow design is carried down through the front set of legs which were hand shaped to match. The doors to the cabinet have a translucent layer of mica sheet and custom milled stainless door pulls
The inside of the cabinet is also red birch. A glass shelf and drawers with zebrawood fronts complete the inside of the cabinet.
